Machine City is the brand name of Anirudh Engineering Solutions — a family-run used industrial machinery business headquartered in Mohali, Punjab. For over sixteen years, we have helped manufacturers, workshop owners, and industrial buyers across India find the right used machines, sourced from trusted domestic and international channels.
Our Story
From One Lathe, to Pan-India
B.K. Singla began his career at Electronica, then Sam Automation — on the workshop floor, building the kind of eye for machinery that only comes from working with it directly. In the years that followed, while still running a lathe for job-work, he began buying and selling machines on a commission basis across Punjab. In 2009, he invested his entire savings to start importing conventional machinery directly from Canada, the United States, and Singapore. That was the founding of Machine City — one man, one yard, and a standard of honesty that has held ever since.
Parvej Singla joined after five years in the service line at Sam Automation. His hands-on field expertise gave the business something it had not had before: the technical depth to evaluate, source, and sell CNC machinery. Machine City expanded beyond conventional equipment into VMCs, HMCs, and CNC turning centres. The enquiry volume grew, the geography widened, and what had begun as a Punjab-focused conventional business became a pan-India operation trading across every major industrial category.
Anirudh Singla — Mechatronics graduate from Thapar University — joined most recently, building the marketing and digital infrastructure that lets Machine City reach buyers well beyond its personal networks. Today, over 2,000 machines have been traded. The sourcing channels B.K. Singla opened in 2009 are still running. Three members of the Singla family run the business together. And for the first time, buyers across India can find us before they find us by word of mouth.

He spent years buying and selling machines locally on commission while running a lathe for job-work — learning the trade by doing it. He oversees operations and marketing, and his network in Punjab's manufacturing sector has been central to the company's growth.

What We Do
Direct International Sourcing
We import directly from Canada, the United States, and Singapore — bringing fresh-condition used machinery to Indian workshops without multiple layers of middlemen. These are machines that have been maintained to Western workshop standards, often significantly better than comparable domestic inventory.
Pan-India Delivery Support
Our logistics network supports delivery to buyers across India. We coordinate transport from our Mohali yard to your floor, whether you're in Punjab, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, or anywhere between. The machine reaches you; your team takes it from there.
Well-Maintained Domestic Inventory
Alongside imported stock, we maintain a curated selection of Indian-used machines from manufacturers who are upgrading or winding down. Each piece is evaluated before listing — we photograph what we see, and we describe what the photographs don't show.
