Used Chip Conveyors for CNC Machines for Sale in India

A chip conveyor automatically removes metal chips from the machine tool's sump and transports them to a collection bin outside the machine, keeping the machining zone clear and the coolant clean. Chip conveyors are standard equipment on production CNC machines — VMCs, turning centers, and HMCs — where continuous cutting generates large chip volumes that would otherwise clog the coolant tank and flood the machining area. Without a chip conveyor, operators must manually clear chips, which is time-consuming, messy, and a safety hazard (sharp metal swarf).

Chip conveyor types are matched to chip shape and material: hinged belt conveyors (also called scraper plate conveyors) handle long, stringy steel chips; scraper chain conveyors work well with broken chips and sludge; magnetic conveyors attract and carry ferrous particles (swarf dust and fine chips) but cannot handle non-ferrous or stainless materials. Key specifications are conveyor length (determines how far the chip must be carried from the machine sump to the chip bin), belt width (wider = more chip-carrying capacity for high-volume cutting), and discharge height (determines where the chips drop into the collection bin).
